Scholarships through the Martin County Community Foundation

The first funds at the Martin County Community Foundation were established by donors who believed in the power of education. Those early scholarship funds started nearly 30 years ago and others established in the following years, continue to help deserving Martin County high school graduates pursue a college degree. The Martin County Community Foundation has many scholarship funds, each with a different purpose and eligibility requirements. Some scholarships are granted solely on academic performance, others take need and the student’s potential into consideration.

MCCF Scholarship Funds include:

The Jared Blue Scholarship Fund

Students from Martin County High School with a 3.0 GPA and planning to attend a four-year college, are eligible for the Jared Blue Scholarship, established in memory of Jared Blue, MCHS class of 2007. Please include an essay that responds to the question, “Seize the day! What does it mean to you?”
