What is Impact 100?
In 2001, Wendy Steele mobilized close female friends and business associates to form a nonprofit operating as IMPACT 100 in the Cincinnati area. The concept was simple, yet ambitious. The Cincinnati founders recruited 100 women to donate $1,000 each, and collectively funded a $100,000 grant to a charitable initiative which demonstrated the potential for community impact and sustainability.
For every 100 members recruited in a given year, IMPACT 100 chapters are able to incrementally fund charitable initiatives in amounts not less than $100,000.
Qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations are invited to submit applications to their respective Impact 100 chapters. For more information, please visit your local Impact 100 Chapter.
